I want to first be clear, this is not an original idea. I’ve seen three different versions of the OK Okapi online.

This is just my version.

I’ve been having a hard time being creative recently. Some days I’m burning with ideas, and others I just want to read and watch some old movies on Youtube.

Still, I’ve been sending hand made cards to friends, and it makes me feel like I am doing something. Things are going to get better. It is going to be “OK”. I’m at that point now. No fireworks, nothing fancy, but it will be “OK”. Things might never even get to the old normal again, but even that will be “OK”.

I looked at the dictionary I cut up, and right there was “OK” next to “Okapi”. My friend Kitt loves Okapi. I decided to make a card for her. It was so easy, I made some other cards. One for a friend with the virus, one for a teacher who is overwhelmed but still doing a fabulous job, one for a relative.

I don’t feel I was being creative, since this is something a lot of people have done before, but who doesn’t like an Okapi?
