My friend “Crazy Rebecca” is known for her beautiful, and often whimsical, journal pages.
No lines, which is fine….
She likes to use a pencil to give her work an extra pop.

These pencils are available on Amazon, in a nice size package so you can share with friends.
One with lines and one without
The little trick with these pencils is you can just outline and have a sharp black outline, or you can wet the pencil line and end up with lovely shadows.
I use water and a small brush!
Some people just spit, but I use a small paintbrush. I promise!
It’s a small line, that can add a lot to any artwork.
Also, I’m having a week’s rest at home, with lots of medications, so making butterfly cats is just right. Nothing too hard, but easy and a lot of fun.
