I decided to start, YET ANOTHER skeptic blog, because I am being interviewed more often and speaking to various groups.  My other web site, Badalien.org is really for the paranormal believer.  Skeptics visit, and leave thinking “I have no clue what that was about.”

I decided I needed a place where a person that works with alien abductees, writes skeptic preschool stories, and every once in a while investigates a haunted house or a Big Foot sighting, could simply share that crazy skeptic world with others.

I was born fantasy prone, and have found skepticism is the foundation that keeps this train from going to crazy town.  If not for a brother that sent me a copy of “Flim Flam” I would probably be camped out in the woods sure that owl was a Big Foot mating call.  Because of “Flim Flam” and the influence of skeptics in my life, I am now camped out in the woods sure that the owl is just an owl.  My job is to tell Big Foot hunters, “seriously, dudes, that’s just an owl” and go with them to find the owl and point it out to them.

I was once threatened with being put into detention during recess if I did not stop telling ghost stories during recess (this was in second grade).  I’m still telling stories, mainly to preschoolers in an attempt to teach skepticism (My two books are “Zigge and Lise, Skeptic friends” and “Fairy Tales, Fairly Told”).  I also am head of investigations for Granite State Skeptics.
